Program Director of Westphalia Training Center - HigherEdJobs

The Program Director will provide leadership for and coordination of all Westphalia Training Center programs, services and activities. To
act as a college representative for the Construction and Energy Institute and to collaborate with WDCE open-enrollment and contract training
staff and the business community in support of workforce development in construction, skilled trades and green jobs training.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 8 years of experience OR 10 years of experience.
2. Supervisory experience

CRITERIA: The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed. Other information and observations made during the interview process may be considered in the selection process.

1. Extent of education, training, and experience in discipline or related field (construction and/or energy industries).
2. Extent of demonstrated success in providing leadership in the development, promotion, and evaluation of workforce development, education, and/or training programs.
3. Extent of demonstrated success in short and long-range strategic program planning, including budget and financial considerations, as well as personnel needs.
4. Extent of demonstrated success in developing and maintaining public-private sector partnerships with business, union, and/or community partners.
5. Extent of demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and projects.
6. Extent of demonstrated success in developing creative and innovative solutions in the development of new courses and services to meet community needs.

Job Requirements:
1. Degree from an accredited institution.
2. Letters of reference must be job related and dated within the past three years.
3. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
4. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
